Australian Red Cross Lifeblood's purpose is life-giving donations for life-changing outcomes.
Lifeblood is proud to be a world-leading health organisation, providing one of the world's safest supplies of blood, plasma, and other biological products to all communities of Australia.
Lifeblood is a not-for-profit division of the Australian Red Cross Society; however, it is separate from the humanitarian arm of the Red Cross. Australian governments fund Australian Red Cross Lifeblood to provide blood, blood products and services to the Australian community.
How Australian Red Cross Lifeblood can help
Lifeblood provides life-giving blood, plasma, transplantation and biological products for life-changing outcomes.
As a national, universal provider, Lifeblood also offers screening, clinical, transplantation and immunogenetics services, as well as supporting emerging biological product donations, such as milk and faecal microbiota.
