MumSpace is an Australian website designed to support the mental health and emotional wellbeing of pregnant women, new mums, and their families. It provides quick and easy access to trusted, evidence-based information, tools, and programs to help during the transition to parenthood.

How MumSpace can help

MumSpace.com.au connects parents with the right level of support — from practical advice and early guidance through to effective online treatment programs for perinatal depression and anxiety. The site also serves as a valuable resource for healthcare professionals supporting families during pregnancy and the postnatal period.

All online resources and apps available through MumSpace are evidence-based and developed by the Parent-Infant Research Institute (PIRI). These programs have been evaluated in Australian research studies and include accredited digital mental health programs that meet the rigorous standards set by the National Safety and Quality Digital Mental Health Standards, ensuring high-quality, evidence-based support for families.

MumSpace is led by PIRI and supported by the Perinatal Depression e-Consortium (PDeC), whose partners — including Perinatal Anxiety and Depression Australia (PANDA), Monash University, Jean Hailes for Women's Health, and Queensland University of Technology — provide expert advice and guidance in an advisory capacity.

PIRI is a leading Australian research institute based at Austin Health in Melbourne. It combines research and clinical expertise to address perinatal depression and other challenges faced by parents and infants, turning research into practical programs that improve family wellbeing.
